Wayne Kaylor has been an innovative and entrepreneurial mind in the RV industry for over 30 years.
With experience creating and scaling businesses, Wayne has also been intricate in sourcing, manufacturing, and importing hundreds of new products that have benefited OEM manufacturers and end-user RV owners.
Kaylor founded Way in 2009 and has helped grow it into the leading supplier of RV appliances, electronics, and other furnishings. Kaylor’s other business venture includes Global Purchasing Solutions, Inc., an international representative and sourcing firm of building-related products with offices in China, Indiana, and Michigan.
Kaylor founded Tristar Distributing, the largest OEM electronics distribution company, in 1986. After significant growth, he sold Tristar in 1999 and stayed on as president until 2001. His next venture, National Supply, was a single-location building products supplier to the RV and manufactured housing markets in Elkhart, Indiana.
His vision for Way was simple: Serve the growing RV industry by helping manufacturers provide high-quality products.
Since its inception, Way has brought many innovations to the industry with Kaylor’s direction. Most notably, overhauling how manufacturers viewed 12 volt appliances, including refrigerators. Through Way’s development and engineering, 12 volt refrigerators have become the norm in new RV builds since Way brought them to market in 2017.
Kaylor believes Way’s culture, including a fast-paced environment, great team, and ability to listen to and meet market needs, differentiates it from competitors. He is a big believer in the RV family lifestyle and its benefits.
Wayne is a father of two, and he and his wife live in southwest Michigan. Wayne is an avid outdoorsman, including hiking, boating, golfing, and spending time with his family.
